Vegan Bordeaux Guide!

February 8, 2023
Vegan Bordeaux | Where to eat vegan food in Bordeaux

Brace yourself, I am about to write a glowing review of vegan food in France... Bordeaux wound up being my absolutely favorite place in France so far. I actually love it, and look forward to visiting. Bordeaux is not some sort of excessive vegan haven, but what they do have counts. 20 years ago France was aggressively disgusted with vegan food in my extensive experience traveling there. I was in a small town by the name of Gordes, and cried more than I explored while submitting to a[...]

How To Survive Carcassonne As a Vegan

November 30, 2022
How To Survive Carcassonne As a Vegan | The Vegan Holiday | theveganholiday.com

France and I, we go way back. It's been mostly a terrible experience as far as vegan food is concerned. My heart was wide open for the Carcassonne vegan, as with much of the vegans living in France. Twenty years ago I was literally crying in a phone booth in Gordes when some guy who happened to recently open a pizza shop saw me and actually spoke English to me and made me some pizza because I thought I was going to lose my mind if one more person tried to feed me ham. But, I digress... Franc[...]

Vegan Italy Guide!

October 14, 2022

If you have been around a while, you may have caught our post and/or video on 22 Magical Vegan Spots in Italy a few years back. I am so happy we got to go back to Italy this summer and eat our way through new and exciting places and share an updated vegan Italy guide for you! Of course we did other stuff, but here is where I get to share all the food, because that's why we are here, isn't it? Though last time we posted was pre-pandemic and this time is mid-pandemic, we tried to do our best t[...]

A Very Big List of Vegan Take Away in Amsterdam (Always Updating)

May 2, 2021

This was quite a project and I am so happy we decided to do it. Take away has taken on a whole new necessity in our lives. We were so excited about discovering new places on Holland, and then the world stopped. Being on the extra safe side with Atlas, we don’t go out to public spaced and cringe when deliveries arrive. We are full blown hazmat level responsive, so we cooked every meal, every day for months. After a while we started to get comfortable with limited take away options from establi[...]

Vegan Porto Guide!

May 2, 2021

In late February we went to Porto as a last minute decision to clear out our storage unit and gather the big bag of academic tools I have brought with us from the states. Atlas has been blowing through first grade math and I had gathered second grade workbooks, books for him to read and “next step” tools, just in case. Even though we had been provided the incredible opportunity to join a special school cooperative in Holland, we have a ton of homeschool work we do together, as a family. We[...]

8 Places to Eat Awesome Vegan Food in Kent, UK

May 2, 2021

We kind of accidentally wound up for Kent for a while. Our Portugal plan was a bust, and visa time was running low, so we had to leave the EU to buy some time and make a new plan. We loved Fulham, but were having a hard time finding a place we liked enough to call home in our budget, so we started to explore Kent for it’s nature. We had landed in Dover a few times from our ferry ride from France and the drive to London was always very pretty. We even intended on moving to Kent before Holland[...]

winter ❤️

It’s really hard to work on content and cooking when my head is buzzing.

Dealing with the stalker lady has turned into a full time job, and it sucks the joy out of work.

I can’t wait to post all the fun stuff I have hoarded.

Hope your new year is off to a great start ✨

throwing this past week in the garbage and embracing this coming week with an open heart!

i am trying to remember Tolle and that where there is anger there is always pain.

though this woman has been such a burden on my life, I can’t help but feel bad for the pain she must be strapped with to live life the way she does.

if you have no idea what I’m talking about, I made a “crazy stories” folder above.

i get to brush her off and move on with love and support and she remains angry. silly we use to be so scared of her.

excited for the next few days!
