Meet the Girl
“When I was 5 I decided eating animals wasn’t for me. I have spent a lifetime figuring out why it was the best decision I’ve ever made, even after all the push back (a five year old turning vegetarian wasn’t typical in the 80’s!). I am ready to share all the ‘whys’, ‘hows’, and help I can! Being vegan isn’t a trend, it’s a way of life, and I want to be the support to others I wish I had when I started,”
You are probably here because you are curious who I am and what I am trying to accomplish with The Vegan Holiday. Hi, I am Lana and I haven’t eaten meat since I was five years old. I am a certified vegan nutritionist and vegan chef exploring the world and seeing how it “does vegan”. I did the soul work to figure out what I can do to help others experience an easy and satisfying way to become and stay vegan, and you happened to stumble upon it. Welcome!
Anyone can be vegan. I want you to not “miss the meat” while feeling excited about your next meal and most of all I want you to reap the substantial benefits of getting rid of eggs, dairy and meat from your diet so you can live a long healthy life!
I am here to share everything I know about keeping a vegan pantry, how to make staples, how to cook meals picky-eaters like and how to balance your day with delicious vegan food. I remember the very first day I tried a vegan burger, it was in 1994! The world has changed so much and there is so much available today to make it easier and more convenient than I could have ever imagined!
